Proficiency Test Parameters
A vegetable product (green beans) will used, on which the necessary additions will be made to obtain samples with the levels of interest. The data shown are based on the expected ranges, common and found in previous tests. The assigned value is obtained as the consensus value of the participants, whether it is safe. Otherwise, GSC will inform in the report about the origin of that value (previous value, or addition level...). Sigma target may depend on the level or concentration for some parameters.
The distribution of parameters, and thus the number or amount of sample containers may vary slightly from those shown in the original design, guaranteeing the necessary or equivalent amount for the test.
